ArticleSet.com - Traffic Statistics April 2007

As I think it will be useful for some of you who are reading, I have decided to start posting traffic statistics for ArticleSet.com each and every month. I know I had much to observe from the statistics of other sites that I keep an eye for. Because the month of March didn’t receive a lot of traffic, being the month in which my article directory was launched, I will start posting traffic statistics with the month of April.

The total number of unique visitors for the month of April was 13687. I consider that to be pretty good for the second month of online activity. These visitors generated a total of 24392 pageviews, meaning that the majority of visitors viewed at least 2 pages. Here is how the graph looks for this month:The number of visitors for the month of April

As you can see, the number of people accessing ArticleSet.com has grown steadily over the entire month. In the last part of the month there is a huge increase in the number of visitors. Why do you think that is? You guessed it! That’s the period the PageRank was updated.

Let’s turn our attention to the traffic sources. For the entire month, 2.95% (432) visits were generated by direct traffic. That means visitors typing the URL in the address bar or having the site bookmarked. I sure made a lot of visits for one month, but if you think of all of the testing I had to do it ads up. Another 4.12% (602) visits were generated by referring sites (sites that link to us). Believe it or not the rest of visits, 92.92% (13591) came from search engines, especially Google. After all, I didn’t do so much SEO for nothing!
