Need an excuse? Generate it!
You all know the type - a guy who just can’t take no for an answer. He keeps insisting and insisting, regardless of how many times you’ve said you’re not in the mood. So what do you do when you need a better excuse that “I don’t feel like it”/”I would, but with any other person except YOU!”? That’s simple, you generate it, using the Random Excuse Machine.
Yes, now those pesky neighbors will never be able to bother you again. Cleaning the house, doing the dishes, mowing the lawn are now things of the past due to your new-found arsenal of excuses. Best of all, you could fool around with it for hours, without getting the same excuse twice. And by the time one of the excuses does repeat itself, the person giving you unpleasant tasks (be it a parent, spouse, neighbor, friend) will most likely have forgotten you ever used it.
But that’s not all! Both you and the person giving you tasks will have a nice little laugh about the excuses this little machine can generate. Primitive and simple to make, yet it has a great effect. After all, just because it’s no wonder of sophistication, doesn’t mean it’s not fun.
Use this little contraption whenever you need to weasel yourself out of a task and you’ll finally see that coming up with excuses isn’t so hard. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’d really love to write more in this post, but I have to shave my demented muffin…apparently…
